Spring in West Michigan is famous for the Holland Tulip Time Festival. While I didn’t make it to the actual festival due to a million hours of soccer and baseball crammed into one weekend, I was able to take in some flowers at Veldheer tulip gardens. Apparently I wasn’t the only one that wanted to take advantage of the (finally) warm weather over Mother’s Day weekend. The farm was shoulder to shoulder in some places.
I will definitely visit Veldheer again next spring, however I’ll stick to a random weekday morning instead of a busy Saturday afternoon!
